    Dear Jeff,

Treeking in Langtang region is possible for teahouse trek i.e. Using lodges for your accommodation. Teahouse are basic but warm and comfortable. Some of have hot shower and western toilet.

Our offer is, we can provide you a Guide cum porter who is carrying your big bag and his daily rate is US$ 20 (180) for 9 days. His food, wages and tpt to/from and you pay your food, drinks and teahouse along the route which you need about 15 to 25 per day to each to cover the cost so, we suggest you take about $198 for 9 days trek (NPR,14000) so that you have some reserve cash. Food and drinks starts getting more expensive as you get further up in the mountain. Apart from this you need obtain Langtang National park fee is $14 and $10 for TIMS permit.

Main cost for you is the transport to/from trek and you may find this the hardest part of the trek. It’s a long drive (7hours+) on fairly rough road so you will need a good 4WD vehicle which cost is $200 for oneway. Obviously you can also use the local bus which cost next to nothing but it will be very uncomfortable and will take longer. On trek, you carry just a day sack and walking in your own peace and the Guide/Porter will carry all your kit. We normally limit your weight to 25Kg so that he may not over loaded.

Hope this helps. Please contact us again if you need more informations.
