Rara lake by helicopter

My clients ask me Rara lake tour by a helicopter, i have no any idea how many hours by the helicopter from kathamndu to rara Lake and prices of the charater. Also , to do helicopter tour needed a special permit?

if anybody gives me a answers i will be very appreciate them.

    Indeed Fishtail Air (http://www.fishtailair.com) is an option. They have several small helicopters. Depending on the size of your group Shree Airlines (http://www.shreeair.com) might be an good alternative. They have larger Mi-17 helicopters.

    As far as I know both companies don’t offer flights from KTM to Rara (probably because of the long distance). It is more logical to take a flight by a fixed wing aircraft to Nepalgunj first.

    I think you should contact “Fishtail Air” they have 2 Heli in Humla airport. You can talk to them over charter rates, best option is to fly from Surkhet / Nepalgunj to Rara National park. Last time I checked National park’s fees per landing was Nrs. 2500.
