Where to go to see mount Everest from Kathmandu?

Is there any nearest point to see Everest? i am very lazy for long trekking, i heard there are few places nearby to Kathmandu where we can see Mount Everest. If any one know about this place, please mention below. Also any better way to go these place like by using zeep, motorbike or any public transport available?

I think you can see some part of everest from Helambu, only if weather is clear!

From Nagarkot, part of Everest can be seen if the weather is clear.

Besides that you can take a mountain flight to get a good view of Everest or even take a helicopter and have a breakfast in Everest view hotels.

Or you can get a Jeep or motorcycle and drive to Solukhumbu to get a view of Everest from distance.

We recommend you to go Nagarkot, or Daman or Solukhumbu ( You can see the some part of everest from here, only if the weather is clear)
You can easily go with Bike, Zeep on these places. We have motorbike tour to Everest view point, check the itinerary below:

Day 1: Start Ride from Kathmandu
– Kathmandu to Ghurmi (179 KM), Approx 6-7 hours ride.

Day 2: Ghurmi to Pattale (2860 m)
– We will ride from Ghurmi pattale (62 KM), Approx 5 hours ride.

Day 3:Explore Pattale
-Pattale- Ringmo (42 KM) and back to Pattale, Approx 7 hours ride (84 KM)
Enjoy the sunrise and clear view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Makalu, Kanchanjunga and Gaurishanker and return back to Pattale.

Day 4: Pattale to Khurkot
– We will ride around 124 KM, approx 6 hours ride

Day 5: Khurkot to Kathmandu
– We will be back to Kathmandu. End of the tour
