The nearest spot for canyoning in Kathmandu is in Sundarijal. Other spots are Bhotekoshi, Jalbire, Pokhara, Lamjung, etc. Depending upon the water flow, there will be about 4-5 waterfall for canyoning in one day. The waterfall may be of 15 m to 50 m in height. You can scream as much as you can. There is are two places till date here in Nepal where you can do bungee jump. One is in Bhotekoshi near Nepal-Tibet border and another one in Pokhara. Bungee jump in The Last Resort, Bhotekoshi is of 160 m high where you will jump off the bridge down to roaring Bhotekoshi River, whereas bungee jumping in Pokhara allows you to jump from the ramp that is built over the Phewa Lake. Take a long really long deep breath, close your eyes, and jump. During this canyon swing, you can scream all you want while jumping off a bridge. You will be experiencing a free fall of 4-5 seconds before you swing like a pendulum on the top of Bhotekoshi River. You will jump off of a bridge to the height of 160 m while swinging. Paragliding / Para Hawking:
Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Bandipur are few places where you can fly like a bird or even with the bird while paragliding/Para hawking. Among the above listed place, Pokhara is listed as a famous and one of the best spots for paragliding. The early morning flight allows you to hover around the beautiful city with the view the beautiful Phewa Lake, Pokhara city, and the picturesque panoramic view of the Annapurna range. You will take off from the Sarankot from where you can see the beautiful view of sunrise and land on the bank of Phewa Lake. The total time of flight will be 30 to 45 minutes. Depending upon the weather and wind condition, the flight may be reduced. You can do some acrobatic moves also if you ask your pilot to do some maneuvers. Cycling is one of the easy and best ways to commute while travelling in Nepal. There are many good places for cycling throughout Nepal. You will be safely harnessed and then launched off the ramp where you will gain up to speed of 140 kmph. You will be covering a distance of 1.8 km in less than minute. You will feel the adrenaline and gush of wind hitting your face while zip line.
