Looking for Good Children’s Bookstores in Kathmandu​

My little sister really loves exploring storybooks and reading, so I’m looking for some good children’s bookstores in Kathmandu.

Could anyone recommend a few good places to buy storybooks and educational books for kids? I visited New Road, but most of the bookstores I found mainly had novels and books for adults.

Also, if you’re a book lover, what books would you recommend for a 6–8-year-old child? I’m planning to take her to a bookstore at least once a month so she can explore and choose books she enjoys. I’m also thinking of gifting her some good books for her birthday.

Would really appreciate your recommendations for both good bookstores and must-read books for kids. Thank you!

For that age group, you can go to Ekta Books Thapathali.
In their ground/basement floor you can find enough books for different ages, and there's a cafe upstairs in the next building where later you may enjoy together for reading or sip-nip drinks and bakes.
