Hello parents, Yesterday, I attended the Kumon Method workshop organized by Kumon Institute of Education Japan, at my daughter's school (in Kathmandu). It was 30-mins keynote session. At first, I was unsure whether to attend, but when I re-read the invitation, a few keywords caught my attention; they say,

Strengthening Math Skills; and
Self learning.
Which is important, since I always wanted my kid to have strong abilities in science and maths subjects. Especially maths, because later if my kid pursues an engineering or medical doctor career, the math skills will be an advantage for a lifetime. That's why, Before I move on, I want to highlight key takeaways from this session;

[B]The Kumon Method trains children to calculate quickly and accurately using structured templates. I think it’s structured learning, it’s disciplined and effective - my final thoughts. As a parent, that assurance matters. 🙏
